London City Waste Clearance Featured in the Guide to Recycling Fluorescent Tubes in London

Recycling fluorescent tubes is the safest and most environmentally friendly way to deal with old bulbs, as almost every part of a tube can be recycled, including the hazardous gasses found within the tube. At London City Waste Clearance, we specialise in recycling old fluorescent tubes. This means we collect and dispose of all types of tubes for our customers. Cardboard recycling

Cardboard waste has become a big contributor to recyclable waste. At home we can find cardboard in the form or corrugated cardboard and the types used for food and drink packaging, such as egg cartons, cereal boxes and product packaging. What we are seeing is a growth in cardboard packaging, especially with a lot of us now shopping online and having parcels delivered.

How to re-use cardboard

Use cardboard boxes for storage, they are usually strong and sturdy, ideally suited for the job! Always write the contents on the box so you can see at a glance what it contains!
If you have large cardboard boxes you can make them into toy boxes – decorate them with left-over wallpaper or get creative with scraps of fabric to jazz them up a bit!
Let the kids play with cardboard boxes, they’ll add their own imagination and they can be anything from play houses to fire engines!
Use a cardboard box to collect your recycling in – then you won’t have to separate it later!
