- Give it away

Another option is being able to return your laptop or computer to the shop where you bought the unit, they may rebuild the laptop/PC and sell it off again.
If you do recycle your old laptop or PC, then you should clear all sensitive personal data stored on your laptop or PC’s hard drive such as passwords, bank account numbers, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and a whole lot more including browsing histories.
There is an option where you can you can give away a working computer to someone who would benefit from it. If you do not find someone then there is third party websites where you can sell your old laptop if it’s working or sell it for parts.
