In this day and age, we all should be recycling on a daily basis. We may not notice it in our day to day live but by not recycling, we could be effecting the future generation’s chance of having a normal life.
Our waste is piling up and sooner or later, there may not be any more place to bury our waste. Future generations will end up living in our dirt! We need to make changes to our lifestyles to prevent any more damage being caused to our environment. Recycling London should be at the tip of our tongue when it comes to throwing things in the bin.
For those who do not recycle, here are the common excesses used.
“I don’t have the space.”
This excuse is probably the most common excuse out of the all. Whether you have a small home or a big home, it’s always possible to make space. It’s understandable that people have limited space in their houses, especially those in the city. When it comes to recycling, why is it that people cannot make the space? They could make the space for a huge television in the living but not a separate box for recycling!
It’s as simple as adding a few more bins around your house. All you have to do is make a separate bin for your recyclables and another for your non-recyclables.
“Recycling is a hassle”
Recycling is only a hassle if you make it a hassle. We should try to make it our lifestyle, rather than think of it as doing something extra. Having separate bins, makes it even easier to recycle. Most councils have separate days for the recycling pick up to make it that much easier. If you do not have someone that picks up your recycling, you could always get a company to come and pick it up for you. London rubbish collection can be done by a simple phone call. One phone call could make your life hassle free.

“It doesn’t make a difference”
Due to people not seeing any immediate effect, they are led to believe that they are not making a difference. By you not recycling, your trash ends up in landfills. That same trash could have been recycled and put to better use. Your trash goes through the recycling process to become usable materials. Once it is at this stage, manufacturers can use it to make new products.
This process helps manufacturers use less raw materials for their products. You may think you are not making a difference but you are actually making a huge impact with every item you recycle.
“I don’t have enough trash for it to matter”
People tend to think that you have to recycle a lot of waste for it to make a difference. Whether you recycle one bottle or ten, every little bit helps. If you think you do not have enough, then why not let it gather up over a month and then recycle it. It will make you feel better and you will be doing your bit for the environment.
